Our Rector

We are happy to announce the calling of Father Joshua T. Condon as the new Rector, and we welcome him and his lovely wife Sarah to the St. Stephen's Armonk family!

From Fr. Josh upon his recent start:

Grace and Peace to you!  I write you in the joy of beginning a new period of ministry at St. Stephens.  Sarah and I have moved into the rectory, I have begun my work in the office, and we have all started worshiping together on Sunday mornings.  All of these actions of moving, starting, learning, and becoming are experiences in which we encounter authentic growth and realization of the potential ahead. 

For me this is very exciting.  Stepping into the unknown life of potential means that we will have the chance to explore together who we and who God calls us to be.  All of the things we do together are opportunities to grow in life.  Worship, Confirmation class, coffee hour, holidays, Sunday school, outreach, stewardship, Baptisms, Bishops visits, and beyond are all experiences I look forward to having with you as your Rector.  There will be times of joy and celebration, times of mourning, and times to simply reflect on all that happens around us.  For this common life we will share I am greatly excited and very thankful.  May God bless us as we walk together.
